Besa Coaching is online fitness coaching run by a single coach, from Belgium. "Besa" means the word you give in Albanian, and the whole offer rests on it: no minimum term, but a word given on both sides. It needed a site that screens applicants instead of selling a subscription, and that promises nothing a photo cannot prove.

The problem
Online coaching is sold with spectacular before and afters, countdown timers and promises of kilos. Visitors no longer believe it, and they are right.
A brand that is just starting does not have a hundred transformations to show. Making up results was out of the question: it had to work with little proof, but real proof.
One coach cannot take on everyone. An open contact form would have filled the inbox with requests to turn down one by one.
The approach
- 01The site does not sell, it takes applications. Three screens, two minutes, and at the end the applicant gives their word. The coach accepts or not.
- 02Proof comes from raw photos: a client's scale photos, dated, cropped but never retouched, with the difference worked out from the numbers on display. The block is labelled "In progress", not "Result".
- 03To be found without advertising, the site is useful before it asks for anything: advice pages, and three calculators (calorie deficit, protein, steps to kilometres) that run in the browser.
What we solved
A short application that still screens
The first version asked for age, schedule, eating habits and health. Too long, and too personal for a first contact. Everything that does not help say yes or no was moved to after acceptance: the form no longer collects any health data.
Calculators that keep nothing
Weight, height and age are numbers nobody likes handing to an unknown website. The three calculators run in the browser: nothing is sent, nothing is stored. The site has no cookies and no analytics, so there is no banner to close.
Every request arrives sorted
The application goes into Studio, where the coach finds it in the order he reads it: motivation first, the rest after. An application written in English arrives in English. He replies himself, within one business day.
