Moveat

The tracking notebook for sports coaches and their clients.

Year
2026
Role
Design, full-stack dev, product
Sector
SaaS, sports and coaching

A sports coach tracks their clients across a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp thread and PDFs sent on Sunday night. Photos get lost in the conversation, measurements are never compared, and nobody sees who is dropping off. Moveat puts all of it in one place: the client fills in their check-in on their phone, the coach reads it on their screen.

The problem

The coach juggles Excel, WhatsApp and PDFs. No usable history, no curve, no view of who is progressing and who is dropping off.

The client sends photos into a chat thread. Three months later nobody can find them, and the before/after comparison simply does not exist.

Existing fitness apps are either too generic, or too expensive for an independent coach tracking fifteen people.

The approach

What we solved

A check-in that never gets lost

A half-filled form on a phone that dies is a client who never starts again. The draft is saved continuously and picks up exactly where they stopped.

Photos that are genuinely private

Body photos are intimate. Private bucket, signed URLs, strict isolation between coaches at the database level. No public index, no accidental sharing.

The coach never retypes

Whatever can be computed is computed: diet macros are not typed by hand. The coach writes the food, the totals follow on their own.
